Whoop-Up Days is where our community comes together!  For over 125 years, Whoop-Up Days has marked the culmination of summer for Southern Albertans featuring all your favourite sights, sounds, smells and tastes!

Whoop-Up Days 2025 is bringing the community together, offering FREE gate admission for all attendees from noon - 3 p.m. on Aug. 19, 20 & 21.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for people from Lethbridge and region to gather, celebrate, and showcase the best of our area.

Whoop-Up Days Admission

Whoop-Up Days 2025 will continue with an admission-based model, with adaptations made from previous years to help ensure Whoop-Up Days remains as accessible as possible for the entire community.

  • Free ‘Til 3 fuelled by Gas King allows anyone to get into Whoop-Up Days for no cost from noon to 3 p.m. on Aug. 19, 20 and 21. 

  • Youth aged 10 and under are admitted free to Whoop-Up Days at all times. 

  • Advance pricing offers great savings.

  • All pricing listed includes fees and GST.

  • Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo tickets are the same price as in 2023 and include admission to Whoop-Up Days.

  • $5 Whoop-Up Wrap-Up tickets are available for Sunday, Aug. 24 offering access to the midway and select Food Trucks

Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo

Pro Rodeo returns Aug. 21 - 23, following a record breaking attendance year in 2024. One of Canada’s top 10 paying rodeos, Lethbridge’s burgeoning reputation and late-season scheduling make it an ideal stop for competitors, with World, Canadian and Calgary Stampede champions dotting the lineup each night. The Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo presented by Dennis' Dirtworx is also the only rodeo in the country to include Relay Races, a thrilling traditional Indigenous competition, as part of each rodeo performance.

Lethbridge & District Exhibition’s Lotteries program is once again giving back to the community, announcing Lethbridge Family Services as it's community partner for the 2024 50/50 Lottery campaign.

 

Lethbridge Family Services provides highly-accredited health and social services to over 9,000 individuals and families in more than 30 communities in southwestern Alberta, through the professional services of more than 380 staff, and the support of over 550 committed volunteers. Its core departments include Counselling, Outreach & Education, DaCapo Disability Services; Homes Services; and Immigrant Services.

  • AEDs are located in the following areas:

    • Main Floor next to the Guest Services Centre

    • 2nd Floor outside of the Lakeview Salon

  • All guests may be required to show government issued ID to purchase alcohol. Guests are not permitted to bring in alcoholic beverages from outside and may not leave with alcohol purchased inside the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre. Management reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest.

  • Certified service animals for guests with disabilities are welcome at the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre and must remain on a leash or in a harness.

  • Multiple Mint ATM Network ATMs are conveniently located throughout the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre.

  • Please notify your Event Manager if a banner or sign will be needed for your event. Improper notification and hanging of signs could incur damage fees. The Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre prohibits signage on its property. Any signage requires prior written consent.

  • Go green this Whoop-Up Days by riding their bikes to the Lethbridge & District Exhibition grounds. To ensure a secure and easy process, volunteers from the Chinook Sexual Assault Centre (CSAC) will staff a bike check everyday!

    The bike check service will be located at the old Safety City location on the north end of the Lethbridge & District Exhibition campus. The service is provided free of charge, although users are encouraged to make donations to support the Chinook Sexual Assault Centre.

  • Upon request, the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre can provide coat check services for your event. Contact your Event Manager for more details. We are not responsible for any property that is lost, stolen, or damaged.

  • Concession stands are open for select events. When open, our stands offer a variety of food and beverages for purchase. Cash, credit, debit, Apple Pay, and Google Pay payments are accepted.

  • Elevators are located in the following areas:

    • Main Floor next to the MNP Meeting Centre

    • 2nd Floor next to the Lakeview Salon

  • The Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre team members have been trained in emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures. Evacuation routes may change due to the location of the emergency. In the event of an emergency, please listen for directions via the intercom system and follow the direction of theTrade Centre team for your safety and the safety of others.

  • The Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre is equipped with standard First Aid supplies. During public events and at the discretion of event planners, certified First Aid personnel will be available. In the event of an emergency, please go to the first available team member for assistance.

  • The Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre is proud to partner with LA Chefs for all catering and concessions . Outside food and/or beverage is prohibited. See terms of entry for details.

  • The Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre is equipped with a drop off lane at the North Entrance.

  • The Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Any guest in need of assistance during an event should seek any Trade Centre team member throughout the venue.

  • The Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre is the perfect place to host your next event. For more information about hosting your event at our venue, please check out the Plan Your Event page.

  • Please contact us to inquire about the possible recovery of any lost items.

  • If you become separated from your child or companion during an event, please seek the nearest Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre Team Member for assistance.

  • The Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre prohibits the following items:

    • Outside food or beverage

    • Weapons (guns, knives, pepper spray, mace, chains, spiked bracelets, brass knuckles, etc)

    • Aerosol Cans

    • Vaping/Smoking

    • Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia

    • Fireworks

    • Drones

    • Helium Balloons

  • Men's, Women's, and Universal washrooms may be found throughout the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre.

  • There is no smoking/vaping permitted anywhere in the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre. Smoking is permitted in clearly-marked outdoor areas as per City of Lethbridge ByLaw. 5.. This policy is strictly enforced.
