Relay Races

AUGUST 22 - 24 | 7 PM

In Relay Races, phenomenal riders showcase their skills in bareback riding as they race around the arena, then jump off their horse and up onto another for the next lap. Yes, it's as exciting and impressive as it sounds.

Featured nightly, the Relay Races are one of the most high-intensity elements of the Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo. Often referred to as “North America’s original extreme sport” the races have been a part of Indigenous life for hundreds of years.

The Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo is the only professional rodeo in Canada to include Relay Races as part of their main events.
