Glow Lethbridge returns to light up the holiday season

New theme, new theme nights, new marketplace highlight the second-year event

Lethbridge, Alta. – Santa’s sleigh has crashed, but the good news is he’s landed right here in Lethbridge at the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre. Santa’s Sleigh Adventure is the theme as Lethbridge & District Exhibition brings Glow Lethbridge back to the city from Nov. 22 to Dec. 31. Tickets are on sale now at lethbridge.glowgardens.com.

Glow Lethbridge debuted in the city in 2023. An instant festive favourite, the holiday lights show guides visitors through a wonderous, interactive display filled with tens of thousands of lights, perfect for getting into the joyous spirit and taking Instagram-worthy photos. This year’s new theme, Santa’s Sleigh Adventure, has seen Santa’s sleigh crash, so he investigates a variety of other travel options while rounding up his reindeer.

In addition to familiar favourites from last year, including free visits with Santa Claus presented by Westco Construction, a kids’ craft corner, festive treats and drinks, and a scavenger hunt, this year Glow Lethbridge is introducing a variety of new experiences. In 2024, visitors can visit the Twinkle Town Market to shop for holiday gifts and treats, kids can take a ride on Glen the Glow-comotive and play in a whole new family fun area, and visitors can take in a variety of theme nights designed to enhance the Glow Lethbridge experience.

“We are thrilled to bring Glow Lethbridge back to the community and excited for the new experiences we are offering this year,” says Paul Kingsmith, Director, Community Engagement, Lethbridge & District Exhibition. “It was important for us to make sure we are increasing the offerings and value for our visitors and we think we’ve done that with an exciting array of new offerings, alongside the familiar favourites that made Glow Lethbridge a smash during its debut last year.”

The Glow Lethbridge theme nights give visitors the opportunity to really get into the holiday spirit. From pajama parties to dance parties, ugly sweater nights to visits with superheroes and princesses, family movie nights and more, you can choose to visit on a day where the theme matches your festive mood.

Additionally, three special nights are creating truly unforgettable experiences:

·         Glow Without Limits takes place on Dec. 4 and offers a sensory-friendly experience designed to allow those who may be sensitive to loud noises, large crowds, and other sensory experiences to enjoy Glow Lethbridge with their friends and family.

·         Glow After Dark takes place on Dec. 19 and offers an 18+ experience that includes a catered dinner and a performance from Lethbridge’s popular Dueling Pianos. Perfect for a holiday date night or get together with friends.
